"Good Retention Starts with Good Recruiting"
Presented by Diana Meisenhelter
Employers today are talking about the importance of retention. But seldom do we stop and evaluate what we are doing to attract talent. Top talent has choices today. They want to be treated like “rock stars.” The employment experience matters, but so does the courting experience from the moment talent hears about you. “It’s not just about getting them to the door, you’ve got to get them to knock, invite them in, make them feel welcome, and get them to stay.”
Join noted staffing strategist, Diana Meisenhelter, as she shares stories from her 20 years in corporate recruiting roles, as well as her many consulting clients on what works and doesn’t work in recruiting and retention. In this interactive and fun session, you will learn not only the issues facing recruiting and retention but take solid tactics back with you that will make a difference:
● We will review what candidates expect from employers today
● Discuss why hiring the right “fit” to be begin with is important to retention.
● Learn what best practice companies are doing today to make a difference
● Discuss why the internal job posting process matter
● Review 10 good recruiting tips that can help improve your retention efforts
● Participants will be introduced to new resources, tools and proven strategies that can improve recruiting and retention, resulting in an improved process, happy hiring managers and better candidates.
● Learn what you can do to finally “get off the hamster wheel” and practical “how to best practices” for making you’re recruiting and retention more effective and selling these ideas back to your organizations.
