Student Membership Guidelines

Student membership is open to any individual, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, mental or physical disability, and/or financial status, and who meets the following eligibility guidelines:

1. A freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student in an accredited college or university.
2. Enrolled in a minimum of 8 units at an accredited college/university under the quarter system, or 6 units at an accredited college/university under the semester system.
3. Submission of the Student Membership Application along with an attached class schedule for the current semester/quarter, along with signed certification by the student faculty advisor or appropriate department chair.
4. Program of Study must have a Human Resource emphasis or closely related field.

Please note: 

• Any individual that qualifies for any other category of Mid-Cities Human Resources Association membership, and/or
• Persons enrolled in a PHR/SPHR Study Series or other Human Resources certificate course are ineligible for student membership.
