Organizational Development Specialist

Develop and implement organizational development (OD) strategies and programs to address and support employee retention, succession planning, workforce planning, talent management and job competencies. Provide learning, coaching and organizational development experiences to enhance performance and productivity, increase employee engagement and retention of key talent in the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate organizational development needs of department/business units. Develop and facilitate general and customized learning and engagement programs to support the needs of the department. Provide consultative services to create and implement recommendations for overall organization effectiveness processes as it relates, performance management; team effectiveness, change management and other related initiatives/programs. Develop and facilitate leadership and management learning programs that align with the University’s vision, values, and goals. Develop and conduct department retreats, events, and team building activities. Evaluates projects based on metrics and intervention outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or a related field. Four (4) years of experience in organizational development, training, organizational effectiveness or related field or the equivalent experience.
Certified professional in assessments/programs such as MBTI, DISC, coaching, leadership, conflict resolution. Experience conducting team interventions and other organizational development functions. Proficiency using authoring tools (Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia, etc.); and/or video/audio production and editing software (Audacity, Premier, etc.)
