    HR Generalist 

    Triencon Services, Inc.  Arlington, TX

    The HR Generalist is responsible for the daily tasks of HR including maintaining employee records and compliance reporting. This person is key in setting and maintaining the culture of TSI and can significantly impact employee retention. They will assist employees with HR related needs and will assist other HR partners and management as requested.

    The essential functions of this position, which may be performed with or without accommodations, include the following:

    • Understand organizational effectiveness and staffing needs, then develop and execute recruiting/training strategy.
    • Manage staffing function for full-time regular employees and interns, including talent sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring, while maintaining compliance in each phase in the employee life cycle.
    • Work with Managers to create and maintain job descriptions.
    • Periodically review salary data and recommend changes to the owners to ensure TSI can attract and retain necessary talent at each level.
    • Advise and assist managers with employee merit increases as appropriate to maintain internal and external pay equity.
    • Oversee the performance review program, to include documentation revisions and semi-annual employee review scheduling to ensure employees know what is needed to be successful, high performers.
    • Act as primary employee communicator by writing or coordinating the company newsletter, planning employee gatherings, reviewing and assisting with other employee communications.
    • Update policies as needed for compliance, create new policies as needed.
    • With owner approval and management input, implement changes based on employee feedback to improve TSI culture or policies.
    • Coordinate the employee training program in compliance with mandatory or non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assignments.
    • Submit compliance reports on time in accordance with state and federal regulations. Monitor HR functions for compliance.
    • Maintain a valid Driver License.

    JOB COMPETENCIES

    • Expertise of HR software or HRIS databases.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Expert in HR disciplines to recommend best practices in support of leadership team.
    • Ability to form and foster relationships with employees.
    • Able to consistently embody TSI culture statements.
    • Well organized, accurate with a strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities and direct other staff as necessary.
    • Ability to mentor junior staff and interns.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality on private matters.

    Required: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or other management field and 5 years of HR experience, or of HR generalist experience.

    Preferred: SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.

    Experience requirement: 5 years of generalist experience or in three of any HR disciplines including:

    • Total Rewards, Organizational Strategy, Talent Planning and Acquisition, Learning and Development, Employee Relations and Engagement, Performance Management, and Compliance.
