As teams grow into higher levels of performance, HR professionals need to develop an awareness and understanding of how teams can increase the effectiveness of their working relationship.
This workshop explores various communication styles, and participants will learn strategies to increase their ability to communicate and help teams work together.
· Realizing that while people are different, they are predictably different.
· Learning about the patterns in yourself and others.
· Discussing how using personality indicators in organizations can increase employee engagement, decrease turnover, increase teamwork and lead to more positive interactions.
About the speaker:
Jason Bolton is a 2004 graduate of the University of California, Davis where he earned his Bachelor's in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations. From 2004 until 2013, Jason was teaching English and Business Communication at the Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing, China. Following his return to the United States in 2013, he was a trainer at Netflix, training coordinator at Discount Truckloads, Assistant Training Leader at Etech Global Services, and he is currently the Senior Trainer for WageWorks, Inc. Jason is a PeopleKeys Maxwell Certified Behavioral Analysis Trainer and Consultant, and he is also a Certified John Maxwell Trainer and Coach. His goal is to add value to others daily and make an impact on those around him.
This program is pending 1.00 general credit towards PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through HRCI and 1.00 Professional Development Credit towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification through SHRM.
Mid-Cities HR Association is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
All online reservations are due by NOON on the Monday before the meeting. Online registration will be closed at that time.
Attendees not registered online will be considered Walk-In registrations and will be charged the guest rate of $35.
Cancellations & Payments:
We regret that we must charge members and guests the cost of the event when cancellations are not received at least 48 hours prior to the event day.
