Predicting Violent Behavior
We have all seen, read, and heard the stories. They constantly populate our news and social media feeds. But how do we as HR professionals get *ahead* of such stories and tragedies, potentially preventing their occurrences for our people, whether in the office and/or in the field? That will be the focus of this presentation with our special guest, Jeff McKissack, President of Defense By Design in Dallas. Jeff will also be giving us advice to mitigate our own personal risks associated with the most common scenarios of violence against those in our profession. About the speaker:
Jeff McKissackJeff McKissack is President of Defense By Design, and a noted national authority in the arenas of profiling and threat assessment. For over 30 years he has trained over 350,000 in live audiences and millions more via radio and television interviews across the country. He is a noted speaker at conferences and conventions, but also offers onsite employee training events with value-add applications for families of employees as well. When asked, Jeff best sums up his message and mission by saying, "my goal is to help you spot trouble 'BEFORE' trouble spots you," and in today's world, that is a message beneficial to us all -- both on the clock and off the clock.

All online reservations are due by NOON on the Monday before the meeting. Online registration will be closed at that time.
Guests not registered online will be considered Guest Walk-In registrations and will be charged a rate of $45. Member Walk-In registrations will be charged the regular guest rate of $35.

We regret that we must charge members and guests the cost of the event when cancellations are not received at least 48 hours prior to the event day.
