During this unprecedented time of need, we hope that all of you and your loved ones are well and are going to stay well throughout this national emergency.
To that end, MCHRA has opted to transition our May meeting to a webinar format. As we did last month, we have decided one more time to donate all registration fees collected for this meeting to a local nonprofit that is supporting the health and welfare needs of our community. This month our registration fees will be forwarded to North Texas Food Bank.
We hope you can join us for the excellent information that Jeff McKissack always provides and to help support the needs of families during this time of crisis.
Thank you for your continued support!

Predicting Violent Behavior
We have all seen, read, and heard the stories. They constantly populate our news and social media feeds. But how do we as HR professionals get *ahead* of such stories and tragedies, potentially preventing their occurrences for our people, whether in the office and/or in the field? That will be the focus of this presentation with our special guest, Jeff McKissack, President of Defense By Design in Dallas. Jeff will also be giving us advice to mitigate our own personal risks associated with the most common scenarios of violence against those in our profession. This is a presentation you will not want to miss!
About the speaker:
Jeff McKissackJeff McKissack is President of Defense By Design, and a noted national authority in the arenas of profiling and threat assessment. For over 30 years he has trained over 350,000 in live audiences and millions more via radio and television interviews across the country. He is a noted speaker at conferences and conventions, but also offers onsite employee training events with value-add applications for families of employees as well. When asked, Jeff best sums up his message and mission by saying, "my goal is to help you spot trouble 'BEFORE' trouble spots you," and in today's world, that is a message beneficial to us all -- both on the clock and off the clock.
