    *Job Summary

    Living Spaces Furniture is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to support our retail locations by providing strategic and tactical, support. The HRBP will serve as a change agent delivering a consultancy style approach to management and act as the intermediate for all HR related matters.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Partner with business units providing consultation on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues • Assure the HR strategy is implemented and supported throughout the business units • Consult, partner, and coach business units to identify and mitigate potential risk • Attend regular meetings with the respective business units • Partner with business units to attract, hire, and retain talent • Partner to business units and Team Member providing guidance on policy interpretation • Advise business units in conflict resolution methods • Partner with managers to coach associates on performance expectations, attendance, and business unit goals • Monitor and enforce compliance requirements • Foster company culture to ensure a great working environment • Partner with business units to drive employee recognition and assist in organizational training and career development and growth • Partner with management and Team Members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retention • Provide team member support on all HR related matters including policies, LOA, payroll, and onboarding • Provide guidance in workforce and succession planning • Partner with business units in managing change in relation to HR policies or processes • Ability to be flexible, agile, and comfortable with ambiguity • Able to travel up to 25%

    *Minimum Qualifications

    Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from a four-year college in Human Resources or related field. 5+ years of experience in retail HR Management. Big box multi-unit retail experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of state and federal laws including leave of absence programs. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. HRIS experience is preferred.
